1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to website owners.
Cookies set by us are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by parties other than us are called third-party cookies. Third-party cookies enable features or functionality provided through the website by external parties, such as analytics, embedded video, and AI-powered tools.
Cookies can be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them).
2. Why Do We Use Cookies?
We use first-party and third-party cookies for the following reasons:
• To make our website function correctly (strictly necessary cookies).
• To remember your preferences and settings (functional cookies).
• To understand how visitors use our website and improve performance (analytics cookies).
• To enable embedded content from third-party services such as YouTube and Vimeo (third-party functional cookies).
• To support the operation of our AI chatbot (functional cookies).
We do not use cookies for targeted or behavioral advertising, and we do not sell cookie-derived data to third parties. See Section 11 for California-specific disclosures.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
Category Description Consent Required?
Strictly Necessary Essential for the website to function. Without these cookies, services you have requested (such as filling in a contact form or navigating secure pages) cannot be provided. These cannot be disabled. No — exempt under GDPR/ePrivacy
Functional Allow the website to remember choices you make (such as language, region, or theme preferences) and provide enhanced, personalized features. Yes — for EU/UK/EEA users
Analytics / Performance Collect information about how visitors use the site (pages visited, time spent, errors). Data is aggregated and anonymized where possible. Used to improve site performance. Yes — for EU/UK/EEA users
Third-Party Embedded Content Set by third-party services (YouTube, Vimeo, Google Maps) whose content is embedded on our site. These parties set their own cookies governed by their privacy policies. Yes — for EU/UK/EEA users
AI Chatbot Session Support the operation of our AI-powered chatbot, maintaining session state during your interaction. No chatbot conversation data is retained in cookies beyond the active session. Yes — for EU/UK/EEA users

YouTube (Google LLC) Embedded video playback https://policies.google.com/privacy

Note: ThemeFusion (Avada) is LSI Media's WordPress theme provider — not a social networking service. Any cookies set by this provider relate to website display and functional preferences only.
6. Our AI Chatbot and Cookies
Our website includes an AI-powered chatbot. When you interact with the chatbot, a session cookie is set to maintain the state of your conversation during your visit. This cookie:
• Is a session cookie and is deleted automatically when you close your browser.
• Does not store personally identifiable information beyond what is necessary to maintain the active chatbot session.
• Is not used for advertising or tracking purposes.
• Does not persist chatbot conversation content — conversation logs are handled as described in our Privacy Policy (90-day retention).
When you interact with our chatbot, you will receive a clear disclosure that you are communicating with an AI system, not a human, consistent with California SB 243 (effective January 1, 2026) and New Jersey consumer protection requirements. See Section 7 of our Terms of Use and Section 6 of our Privacy Policy for full AI chatbot terms.
7. Web Beacons and Similar Technologies
In addition to cookies, we may use web beacons (also called tracking pixels or clear GIFs) — tiny graphics files with a unique identifier embedded in web pages or emails. Web beacons allow us to:
• Monitor traffic patterns between pages on our website.
• Understand whether you have visited our website from an online advertisement.
• Measure the success of email marketing campaigns (e.g., whether a message was opened).
• Deliver or communicate with cookies to improve site performance.
Web beacons typically rely on cookies to function. If you disable cookies, web beacons will have limited functionality. Web beacons in our emails can be disabled by setting your email client to display emails in plain text rather than HTML.
8. How to Manage Your Cookie Preferences
Browser Settings
Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically:
• View cookies currently stored on your device.
• Block or delete all cookies (note this may impair site functionality).
• Block third-party cookies only.
• Set preferences for specific websites.
Browser-specific instructions:
• Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
• Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
• Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
• Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data
Google Analytics Opt-Out
To opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Advertising Networks
If you wish to limit interest-based advertising from participating ad networks, you can visit:
• Digital Advertising Alliance (US): https://www.aboutads.info/choices/
• Your Online Choices (EU): https://www.youronlinechoices.com
• Network Advertising Initiative: https://optout.networkadvertising.org/
Note: LSI Media does not currently run third-party behavioural advertising. These opt-out tools may be relevant for third-party services (such as Google) that have broader advertising networks.
9. Do Not Track and Opt-Out Preference Signals
Do Not Track (DNT)
Some browsers include a Do Not Track (DNT) feature that signals to websites that you do not want your online activity tracked. Because there is currently no uniform standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, our website does not currently alter its data collection practices in response to a DNT signal. We will revisit this position as industry standards evolve.
Global Privacy Control (GPC) and California AB 566
The Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a browser-based opt-out preference signal. California's Opt Me Out Act (AB 566, effective January 1, 2027) will require websites to automatically honor universal opt-out signals from browsers, eliminating the need for users to navigate individual opt-out settings on each site.
We are actively preparing our systems and cookie management to recognize and honor GPC and similar opt-out preference signals ahead of the January 1, 2027 deadline. California residents wishing to exercise their right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information in the meantime may do so by contacting us at info@lsi-media.com with the subject line "CPRA Rights Request."
10. GDPR — Cookie Consent for EU, UK, and EEA Residents
If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or European Economic Area, we are required under the GDPR and ePrivacy Directive to obtain your consent before placing non-essential cookies on your device.
What Requires Consent
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. All other cookie categories — functional, analytics, third-party embedded content, and AI chatbot session cookies — require your prior consent if you are an EU, UK, or EEA resident.
How We Obtain Consent
When you first visit our website, you will be presented with a cookie consent notice that allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookie categories. Your preferences will be stored and applied during your visit and future visits.
Withdrawing Consent
You may withdraw or change your cookie consent at any time by:
• Clearing your browser cookies and revisiting the site (the consent notice will reappear).
• Adjusting your browser cookie settings as described in Section 8.
• Contacting us at info@lsi-media.com to request that we remove any cookie-derived data we hold about you.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of any cookie processing that took place before withdrawal.
Lawful Basis for Cookie Processing
Cookie Category Lawful Basis (GDPR)
Strictly necessary Legitimate Interests (necessary to provide the service you requested)
Functional Consent
Analytics / Performance Consent
Third-party embedded content Consent
AI chatbot session Consent / Contract (necessary to operate the chatbot you chose to use)
11. California Residents — CCPA/CPRA and Cookies
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have specific rights relating to personal information collected through cookies.
Cookies and "Sale" or "Sharing" of Personal Information
Under CPRA, sharing personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising is treated similarly to a sale. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information collected via cookies with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
Google Analytics data is shared with Google solely for analytics purposes under a data processing agreement that restricts Google's use of that data. This does not constitute a "sale" or "sharing" for advertising purposes under CPRA.
Your Rights
As a California resident, you have the right to:
• Know what personal information is collected about you via cookies and how it is used.
• Request deletion of personal information collected via cookies, subject to legal exceptions.
• Opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information (we do not currently sell or share for advertising).
• Non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
To exercise these rights, contact us at info@lsi-media.com with subject line "CPRA Rights Request." For full details on your California privacy rights, see Section 12 of our Privacy Policy.
California AB 566 — Opt Me Out Act
Effective January 1, 2027, websites must honor universal opt-out signals sent by browsers. We are preparing to comply ahead of this deadline. See Section 9 of this policy for details.
12. Virginia Residents — VCDPA and Cookies
Under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), Virginia residents have the right to opt out of the processing of personal data for purposes of targeted advertising and profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
We do not use cookies for targeted advertising. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are used for internal reporting only and are governed by a data processing agreement that restricts their use for advertising purposes.
To exercise your VCDPA rights regarding cookie data, contact us at info@lsi-media.com with subject line "VCDPA Rights Request." For full details on your Virginia privacy rights, see Section 13 of our Privacy Policy.
13. New Jersey Residents — NJDPA and Cookies
Under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act (NJDPA, effective January 15, 2025), New Jersey residents have the right to opt out of the processing of personal data for purposes of targeted advertising, sale, or profiling in connection with decisions that produce significant effects.
We do not use cookie data for targeted advertising or sale. If you have questions about how cookie-derived data is processed, or wish to exercise your NJDPA rights, contact us at info@lsi-media.com with subject line "NJDPA Rights Request." For full details, see Section 14 of our Privacy Policy.
Consistent with the NJDPA, we will not use information collected via our AI chatbot's session cookies to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models without your explicit consent.
14. International Data Transfers via Cookies
Some cookies we use — particularly those set by Google (Analytics, YouTube, Maps) and Vimeo — result in personal data being transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries outside the EU/EEA/UK.
These transfers are made on the following bases:
• Google services: Google participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF). Transfers via Google Analytics, YouTube, Google Maps, and Google Web Fonts are covered by Google's DPF certification.
• Vimeo: Transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.
• SoundCloud: SoundCloud is a UK-based entity. Transfers to the UK are covered by the UK adequacy decision. Further transfers from the UK to the US are governed by applicable SCCs.
For more information on our international data transfer safeguards, see Section 11 of our Privacy Policy or contact us at info@lsi-media.com.
15. Updates to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, applicable law, or our business practices. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on our website or, where appropriate, by direct notification.
We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy periodically. Continued use of our website after any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
